I chose this Still Life by Giorgio Morandi because I really enjoy his work. I also chose this because his work always consists of the same objects that are very geometrical. They also are well known objects like vases but at the same time with unique forms. The pictures that I added were also of vases and other geometrical shapes. Some were also other objects that I found which were geometrical. The top right picture for example, that is a rectangle shape in a yellowish white color, is actually a picture of a light which I used to represent this rectangular solid.

I am a contemporary artist. I like making contemporary artwork. I have participated in many art classes and programs including in the Museum of Modern Art in New York. MoMA has influenced my work a lot. My work usually consists of many different colors and bold shapes. My work has a unique style and usually lacks detail. This semester I hope to do different work and hopefully on a more advanced level. In this class my main goal is to learn a lot about computers that I didn’t know before. I also want to learn a lot about how to make cool designs, websites or blogs on the computer which can later help me in my artistic career. Juxtaposition
